Do You Text and Drive?
Everybody knows that it’s dangerous to text while driving. Texting means you’re taking your eyes off the road, and it also means that you’re not concentrating on the task of driving. It drastically increases your risk of an accident. So why do we still do it? A recent study, done by The Center for Internet and Technology Addiction with AT&T, found that there may be a neurochemical reason behind our compulsive need to check and answer our text messages while we’re behind the wheel.
