History of Tesla

From the beginning, Tesla Motors was driven by a simple goal: to prove that electric-powered vehicles could be a practical alternative to traditional gas-powered vehicles. The company was founded in 2003 and introduced its first vehicle, the landmark Tesla Roadster, five years later. The Roadster quickly became the world’s first hit all-electric vehicle, selling upwards of 2,400 units. The Model S, an all-electric sedan, followed in 2012; it was widely acclaimed for its confident road performance and high safety standards. The Model S received an all-wheel-drive upgrade in 2014, making it one of the most efficient vehicles on the market today. With its strong focus on innovation and energy efficiency, Tesla promises to remain one of the most significant and relevant players in the auto industry.
