Dave’s has been pre-authorized as a Direct Repair Facility for all major insurance companies.
This means the major insurance companies trust us to write the original estimate using the estimating system that the insurance company uses. We take digital pictures of the damage and download all the information directly to the insurance claim center. This saves the insurance company time and money because that is work that the adjuster doesn’t have to do.
The parts can be pre-ordered and the repair scheduled at the time of the estimate. When you pick up your vehicle, you inspect the quality of the repair, your deductible is collected, and the final bill is downloaded to the insurance company for payment of repairs.
What if we are not pre-authorized for your insurance carrier?
You still only need to get our estimate. We can still pre-order the parts at the time of the estimate. But, you may have to take your vehicle to an adjuster to inspect the damage. When he does the inspection, tell him you want Dave’s to repair your vehicle. That choice is yours and you don’t have to take your vehicle anywhere else.
Call your service advisor at Dave’s and give him the name and phone number of the insurance adjuster along with the claim number. Dave’s will handle the rest of the paper work, keep you informed, and make sure you get a quality repair.
